LITHOS 5
MINERAL WOOL ROOFING PANEL WITH 5 TRAPEZOIDAL RIBS

Flagship product in mineral wool of the Ecoline range. Incombustibility, high sound absorption, excellent thermal insulation and ecological respect are the properties of the mineral fiber that Lithos 5 encloses in a double metal casing with 5 trapezoidal ribs.
The mineral wool of the ECOLINE RANGE panels is made up of 95-99% molten rock made into fibres, to which additives are added during the manufacturing process, to obtain a durable material capable of insulating from heat and cold. The panels with this type of insulation have excellent behaviour in the event of a reaction to fire, and have a fire resistance of up to EI 180 and REI 120, i.e. they can resist fire for 180 precious minutes, maintaining their sealing and thermal insulation. Furthermore, the fibrous structure of rock wool favours the absorption of acoustic waves and allows the intensity and propagation of noise to be attenuated. It is the only material, today, that manages to combine four fundamental qualities: protection from fire, incombustibility, thermal insulation, sound absorption. For this reason it is used everywhere in every type of building, from power plants to airports, railway stations, automated warehouses to industries in general, in the construction of new structures and for the rehabilitation of decaying buildings.
– The specifications below are not to be considered product standards, but vary depending on the design needs and what is required during the contractual definition phase. –
DIMENSIONS
Width 1000 mm.
Length upon request from continuous production process.
THICKNESSES
50 – 60 – 80 – 100 – 120 – 150 – 200 mm
Panels of not standard thicknesses can be supplied upon request previous agreement on minimum quantities.
EXTERNAL SUPPORT
- Pre-painted or plasticized galvanized steel.
- Stainless steel.
- Natural, pre-painted or embossed aluminium.
INSULATION
Made by a special configuration insulating layer, in high-density mineral fibres (λ = 0,040 W/mK), arranged perpendicular to the plate plane.
PROTECTIVE TREATMENT
- Pre-painting with polyester.
- Superpolyester (HD).
- PVDF.
- Polyurethane PUR/PA, with thicknesses ranging from 15 to 55 µm.
- Availability on request of other films and non-toxic coatings for occasional contact with food.
JOINT
By its nature, particularly rigid and with a high thermal break, it does not require special plastic joints to hold the metal sheets, since the monolithic nature is guaranteed by the perfect adhesion obtained with exclusive patented technologies. In particularly critical situations, the use of a simple expanded gasket is envisaged.
FIRE REACTION
A2,s1-d0 (except for the micro-perforated version).
EXTERNAL FIRE RESISTANCE
BROOF (cwft)
EPD CERTIFICATION (CAM)
The entire range of roofing and wall panels in steel and aluminium in PIR, PUR and mineral wool, single metal sheet panels and corrugated metal sheets in steel and aluminium, possess the EPD type III – EN ISO 14025 certification, meeting the requirements of compliance with the regulation construction DM 23 June 2022, and satisfying the required CAM criteria.
