The Panel used in Civil Construction

The insulated metal panel is mainly used for the construction of industrial buildings (factories, laboratories, logistics hubs, cold rooms, warehouses, etc.) and for buildings intended for agricultural use. However, the sandwich panel can also be used in residential buildings, especially on roofs.

There are many reasons, in particular a concrete advantage is the simplification and lightening of the roof, reducing the elements that make up the roof.
The installation and supply costs of brick tiles and tiles were compared with those of a pre-insulated metal panel. For the comparison, a roof of 400 m2 was considered with a rectangular plan and a pitch of length equal to 10.42 m, with a slope of less than 30% and installation of the roof covering on a reinforced concrete slab. or on planks. The difference in weight went from 55/57 kg/m2 of brick tiles and tiles to 12 kg/m2 of the sandwich panel, with a reduction in installation cost of 40%.

Another significant plus is represented by the possibility of combining thermal insulation and protection from rainwater.
