Kappa 5 Certified Broof T3 (PUR)

We inform our customers of the obtaining of the B-Roof T3 certificate on the Kappa 5 (K5) single-sheet panel, highlighting a further and important step regarding the continuous research and attention to certifications carried out in recent years.

The certification is present on all Kappa 5 (K5) panels from 30 mm to 100 mm thick in polyurethane (PUR), in all possible combinations having: Steel 0.3 + Cardboard felt, Fiberglass or Centesimal Aluminium.

The test carried out is the most severe in terms of fire behaviour on foam panels, in fact, it differs from those of lower classification (for example T2) in that the flame test is also carried out in the weakest point of the panel (the overlap – joint) and with additional penalizing factors: constant air flow and radiation from the outside.
