Ecology and Savings on the Bill
If it is now known that around 50% of global energy consumption is absorbed by the building, the latter must be designed to be increasingly less polluting, tending towards the so-called ‘zero emission’, be adequately insulated and function as a real generator of energy.
Today, the winning strategy in the face of the growing phenomenon of high energy prices, to encourage energy saving in condominiums, independent homes and businesses, passes through efficiency measures, in which the need to integrate renewable sources becomes a fundamental opportunity.
Since last autumn we have in fact witnessed a succession of strong increases in electricity bills which, in 2022 and with the ongoing war events, have proven to be even higher than expected, with increases of up to 50%.
Among the energy re-qualification interventions, the installation of a photovoltaic system on buildings and warehouses is therefore one of the most effective solutions in order to obtain significant economic savings on the bill. The 110% Superbonus benefits meet this trend, also making it possible to reduce the costs for the removal of asbestos roofs in favour of new roofs that allow integration with photovoltaic modules, not only for extraordinary maintenance interventions, but also in the case of demolition and reconstruction, provided that the intervention can be classified as building renovation, and that compliance with anti-seismic, accessibility and energy efficiency regulations occurs.
We have understood and shared this trend for some time: for this reason the vast majority of roofing elements are designed and manufactured to be installed together with photovoltaic panels.
To offer maximum safety and reliability, our steel, aluminum and mixed products are equipped with one of the most requested certifications in the case of installation of photovoltaic systems on roofs: the BRoof T3, which allows us to guarantee standards compliant with resistance regulations and fire safety.
Speaking in particular of products, the innovative and patented Dryclamp system (which boasts numerous imitation attempts) allows the installation of photovoltaics without drilling the roof, thanks to special brackets that block the module, guaranteeing water tightness and improving therefore the energy efficiency characteristics of the building.
Another innovative and versatile product is Drytec 550, the special draining joint system that guarantees effectiveness and resistance to atmospheric agents. The system is completed with finishing components, accessories and devices for integration with panels for the production of photovoltaic energy.
