Materials

The metal pre-insulated panels shown in this chapter are produced using the following materials:
• Metallic supports:
- Steel according to EN 10147 type Fe E 250 G Norm, available simple hot galvanized through “sendzimir” process, galvanized prepainted or plastified.
- Aluminium alloy 3103 H16 - UNI 9003/3 available either natural or prepainted.
- Stainless steel AISI 304 finishing 2B.
- Copper (UNI 9329 - Points 2.1).
• Insulating Layer: ISOLPACK ECOLINE panels contain an insulation layer of special configuration, made of high density mineral fibres (80 ... 100 Kg/m3 . lambda = 0,041 ... 045 W/mK), perpendicularly placed at sheets plane.
- Specific heat: 0,2 Kcal/Kg °C
- Coefficient of thermal expansion: negligible
- Reaction to wet environment: negligible
- Imputrescibility: total
- Corrosion: it doesn’t cause or favour the corrosion
- Chemical inertia: good
- Fire reaction: incombustible
- Asbestos: completely absent.
In case of fire the smoke emission is insignificant and there is no toxic gas emission. .
